"Gino
Rullo's black-and-white portraits of a young women named Laura adhere
to a romantic tradition in which the subject is caressed by diffused
natural light and velvety shadow . Seemingly lost in her own thoughts,
Laura unselfconsciously allows the camera to study her without revealing
her inner self ". Helen Harrison Review , NEW YORK

"The process of capturing the elusive
moment is in the surrendering of myself to the subject that I am
photographing. No matter the subject, the process remains the same."
"Come enjoy this journey with me."
Thus we know the psyche of the photographer
Gino Rullo. A late arrival in years to this art form but a strong
advocate of the traditional form. He still performs his art with
film and prints his images individually in silver and platinum in
his darkroom (while listening to Jazz or Classical Music).
His studio traverses the globe, stretching from New York City to
Jerusalem, including the Tuscan Hills and the Madoni Mts. of Sicily.
His images are on permanent display at the SHERRY HOUSE in
New York City. Some of his work on SICILY is being shown at LA BELLA
PALERMO in BABYLON, NEW YORK. MERRILL LYNCH has recently purchased
prints for their Lexington Avenue office in New York City.
Gino has produced exciting and original work for fine art clientele.
He conducts individual photo workshops and darkroom classes on silver
and platinum processing for the Babylon Arts Council. Gino is also
in the process of organizing a photo workshop in SICILY for 2007.
Gino has also been recently shown at Black
& White Studies Online Photo Gallery
